High-tech materials for swimmers

With the advent of synthetic materials on the market, the sporting goods market also began to change. In the 50s, Speedo launched the first swimsuit using synthetic materials, in particular nylon. In the late 60s, Bob Gore introduced to the world community a membrane material that did not allow moisture to pass through, but “expelled” steam from the body.
