Mini MINI for the London Olympics - a real sports car

MINI cars are considered one of the symbols of Great Britain. And therefore it is not surprising that the organizers of the Olympic Games in London decided to use them to transport sports equipment. Moreover, we are not talking about ordinary cars of this brand, but about the MINI MINI model specially designed for this purpose - a four-fold reduced copy of the MINI E car.
The MINI MINI is not designed to carry people. Its main purpose is to serve as a means for transporting sports equipment within the stadium bowl. The carrying capacity of this miniature vehicle is only 8 kilograms, which is equivalent to two spears, one hammer, disk or cannonball. This car is 1.1 meters long, weighs 25 kilograms, and has a 10 horsepower electric motor hidden under the hood. Despite its diminutive size, the MINI MINI is a real machine that has air-inflated wheels, side mirrors, windshield wipers, headlights, a sunroof, ventilated disc brakes and many other features common to its "older" brothers.
Of course, the MINI MINI is not controlled by a live driver inside it, but by a remote control with a range of up to 100 meters. The battery capacity of this miniature car is enough for 6 kilometers. At the same time, the full process of charging them takes 80 minutes (or 35 minutes for 80 percent of the full capacity of the batteries).
